Some campsites are less suitable than others, for example some of them have steep roads up to the accommodation or perhaps lots of steps. More and more campsites pay heed to the needs of people using a wheelchair. To Iris Parc at least the sanitary block, the restaurant and the swimming pool should be accessible, without any obstacles, in order to qualify for this pictogram. You should bear in mind that a mobile home is less suitable for wheelchair users because of its high entrance. Tents are better as they are at ground level, although the floor of the type Ottawa is about 15cms above ground level. We hope this pictogram will help you choose the right campsite with good accessibility to the facilities.
