New outdoor pool for Birkelt

In 2019 you can splash about in 2 swimming pools at the Iris Parc Birkelt campsite. There is now a brand new outdoor pool at this family campsite next to the covered swimming pool with toddler pool. It's heated to a lovely temperature, has a safe anti-slip floor and is 550 m2. Want to relax after all that splashing about? There are lots of loungers around the new outdoor pool, on which to stretch out and unwind.

5 Stars for Le Grand Dague!

The Iris Parc Le Grand Dague campsite, in the Dordogne region of France, has been given a 5th star in september 2018! The swimming pools have been upgraded, the bar and restaurant renovated and there is a new ice cream parlour. We’ve expanded the pitches to 80 and added new Safari tents and Glamping mobile homes. No wonder this campsite is one of the favourites of our customers.

Latest addition: Le Ty Nadan

Camping Le Ty Nadan is the latest addition in 2017 to Iris Parc! You’re more than welcome at this luxurious 5 star campsite from the 24th of May. Campsite Le Ty Nadan is in the south of Brittany and is a fantastic family campsite full of activities, adventure and entertainment.

New facilities at Le Grand Dague

Last year the pool was extended. For 2017 the restaurant, snack bar, shop and bar will be completely renovated! The restaurant will get a total makeover that includes a large covered terrace. Lovely, because the terrace has a magnificent view over the hills of the Dordogne. Are you craving for an ice cream? The snack bar has some nice ones and delicious pizzas too. If you prefer to cook your own meals, the large grocery shop has a wide range of products to choose from.

Cycling with children in France

Going cycling with the kids in France? Then take note! Children under 12 must wear a helmet. This applies to both children cycling themselves and kids sitting on the back of a bike as a passenger. So don’t forget to make the kids wear a helmet. It’ll save you  135 euros in fines!

Sun loungers for everyone!

Putting your towel on your lounger early in the morning? So you can save your spot by the pool for the rest of the day?  At the Iris Parc campsites, it’s not permitted to reserve your lounger. To prevent this from happening we have drawn up the following rules:

  • When you leave the pool area and adjoining terrace, it is not permitted to leave a towel ( or other items) on a lounger or deck chair
  • It is not permitted to reserve a chair or lounger for another person.
  • Staff can remove towels without permission. (or on request.)

There are more than enough sun loungers around the swimming pools and everyone can use them. If we stick to these rules, we can all enjoy the swimming pool and the sun. Have fun!
